Terms of Service — Chic & Dapper

This document was drafted to reflect how the Chic & Dapper website and ordering system actually work as of the date above. It has not yet been reviewed by an attorney — please have it reviewed before relying on it as your final legal terms.

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using chicanddapper.us (the "Site") or our garment steam pressing, pickup, and delivery service (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Service.

1. The Service

Chic & Dapper provides steam pressing, garment care, and pickup/delivery logistics in the Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, Little Elm, and Plano, Texas service area. Orders are placed online through your account, and require a valid payment card on file.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Placing an Order

You select garments, quantities, color/starch preferences, a pickup address, and a pickup time (ASAP or scheduled)
Prices shown at checkout are estimates based on garment type and quantity as you describe them. The final price may be adjusted after we physically inspect your garments (see Section 5) or if a promo code/discount no longer applies
Placing an order does not guarantee pickup — every order is reviewed and either accepted or declined by our team (most commonly declined only if the pickup address falls outside our service area). You'll be notified by email if your order is declined

4. Cancellations

You may cancel an order yourself from My Orders at any time while it shows status "Awaiting Confirmation" (i.e., before we've accepted it and dispatched a driver). Once an order has been accepted and dispatched for pickup, it can no longer be cancelled online — please contact us directly and we'll do our best to accommodate a change.

5. Pricing, Payment & Billing Authorization

You authorize us to keep your payment card on file and to charge it, without additional confirmation, for the completed order total — this includes the estimated price plus any adjustments identified when we inspect your garments (e.g. correcting a miscounted or misidentified item, or an add-on service like stain removal) — once service is complete. You confirm this authorization by checking the consent box when saving a card in My Account
Sales tax (where applicable) and any active promo code discount are applied automatically at checkout and reflected in your final charge
Charges are processed by Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment processor

6. Pickup & Delivery

Standard turnaround is 48 hours from pickup; expedited 24-hour and 6-hour options are available for an additional fee, shown on our Pricing page
Pickup and delivery is free for orders totaling $60 or more; a flat $15 fee applies to orders under $60
Deliveries are routed through our logistics partner, Shipday, and fulfilled by our own drivers or contracted third-party couriers
Please ensure someone is available at the scheduled address during your selected pickup/delivery window

7. Our Quality Promise

Every garment is inspected before delivery. If a garment isn't pressed to your satisfaction, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will re-press it at no additional charge. This promise covers pressing quality; it does not cover pre-existing damage, normal wear, or issues arising from a garment's own fabric/construction.

8. Communications Consent

By providing your phone number and email, you consent to receive order-related communications (pickup/delivery confirmations, status updates, and service-area notices) from Chic & Dapper by email, text message (SMS), and/or phone call. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop text communications at any time by replying STOP or contacting us directly — note that some order-status communications may still be sent by email.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting unauthorized access to any account, order, or system, submitting fraudulent payment information, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chic & Dapper's liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
